We just completed a ceramic mural created with 250 2nd, 3rd and 4th

graders at Aquebogue Elementary School here in New York.

Sunflowers were the theme and the piece is over 18 feet long by 4 feet

high. The school's library was lucky enough to have the piece sited there.

It looks great and the kid's did it all themselves with a little help from

Lampa designer/principal, Marta Baumiller.

 

The mural was inspired by local farm fields filled with sunflowers that
